This painting is made up of 9 porcelain and stoneware pellets, entirely handcrafted. The design of each is created by mixing four different clays. The light wood floating frame is contemporary and has a thin, sturdy metal cable for easy hanging.
This work is named after Ray Zahab, a Canadian explorer who traveled long distances across the world's largest and hottest deserts, traversing on foot some of the world's harshest and most unpredictable landscapes.
